The Triathlon of May 7, 2005 was a great success with VGIF supplying 2 boats and the SMLMVFR having 6 boats with 14 Personnel on board. These members consisted of Firefighters, EMT's and Rescue Divers. 7 Rescues from the cold waters were made all were released and fine. We want to thank the Game Wardens for there help in making this event safe for all |
We first want to thank the owners of Pelican Point for including our organization in your program of May 7, 2005. It is always a pleasure to speak about our organization and our plans for the future and enjoy the chance to demonstrate our Fireboats in action. Carl Martin of VA. DGIF was on before us and a pic of him is also included. |
